Music is the Message Part 1The Music is the Message (Part 1) – Radioactive 101 presents an exciting radio show featuring music students from the School of Performing Arts at the University of East London in collaboration with the young people at Dragon Hall youth organisation.

The feature ‘perspectives’ presents young peoples’ music and their difficulties whilst making it, current views on the music industry and their journey up to and since performing and recording music. This also deals with how music and video can highlight topics of concern such as the link between alcohol abuse and violence.  The features all provide honest, emotional and typically cautionary tales that expose the human reality of issues that are often treated trivially or questionably glamorised within the music industry.
