RadioActive101 has been funded to take part in the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) Festival of Social Science on 7 Nov 2017. Building on the success of previous Festivals, ESRC supports only the highest ranked activities ensuring a diverse Festival by both location and topic and so we are thrilled that our event has been accepted as part of this prestigious event.
Details of the event were presented in an interdisciplinary case study poster at UEL Research Conference 2017 (6 July). The ESRC Festival of Social Science event organised by the University of East London will be coordinated by Dragon Hall and based at Soapbox, a new youth centre on Old Street, London to mark a unique collaboration between the voluntary sector, Higher Education and Tech City, the world’s third largest tech cluster. The festival day will provide children and young people (aged between 8 and 25 years old) with unparalleled access to RadioActive101 workshops alongside emerging technologies and ideas, and create a network of experts to collaborate and continue with our work long after the festival has taken place.
