Radioactive 101 presents a thought provoking and moving radio show on youth violence and its impact, and the measures youth organisations and their partners can take to address it. The show has interviews with young people, youth workers, the police and other community groups. The show demonstrates the power of radio as an educational intervention. This one is hosted by James Dellow, an Education researcher at the University of East London (UEL) and youth worker from Dragon Hall youth organisation, and covers topics ranging from bullying, racism, violence and includes insightful comments on ‘stop and search’ policies on London’s streets.
